Services
The VCEAP operates as a free, confidential counseling service to you, your family and retirees of the City of Vancouver.
Your EAP provides you with access to qualified counseling professionals who can help resolve personal and work-related problems before they affect your health, family or ability to work.
EAP counselors have a broad base of skills and experience. The Vancouver Civic EAP has the ability to assess and assist you by either helping you or your family member(s) with short term counseling/therapy, or referring you or your family to the necessary resources appropriate for your specific situation and whatever problem they may present.
If an employee does not wish to utilize the VCEAP for whatever reason, they can utilize their extended benefits through Pacific Blue Cross.

The VCEAP does not provide long term therapy or a medical diagnosis.
• The VCEAP is a voluntary program, which means no
one can make you use the program.
• There is no charge for the service.
• Your co-workers and management will not be told of
your contact, nor given any details.
• Information will not appear on your employment record.
The program is available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You may access the program by contacting the VCEAP office by phone at (604) 665-2150.
Appointments can be made Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Some evening appointments are available.
