Our Staff

The Vancouver Civic Employees Assistance Program has a staff of two:

Francine Robinson – EAP Counselor
M.A., Registered Clinical Counselor


Francine Robinson is a registered Clinical Counselor and a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors. She has experience working with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing a variety of concerns including: depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, marital and relationship difficulties, substance abuse, midlife issues, grief and chronic/terminal illnesses.

In 2000, Francine received her Master’s Degree in counseling psychology from the Alfred Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, she has post graduate training in: Bowen Family Systems, Imago Marital & Relationship Therapy, Grief and Loss, and is presently participating in a three year program studying Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).

Francine has a diverse background having been both a Volunteer Coordinator and Grief Therapist in the area of hospice / palliative care working with people experiencing life threatening illnesses and bereavement issues.

Francine’s therapeutic approach is eclectic using a systems oriented, psychodynamic model which emphasizes the development of personal skills, relationship building and capitalizing on the client’s own strengths.

Kim Fraser – Office Manager

As Office Manager, Kim shares with the EAP her extensive background in client care through her experience as the Patient Care Coordinator at a reconstructive oncology/plastic surgery clinic. Kim’s welcoming smile is the first point of contact for most clients, and her caring compassion insures a welcoming environment at the EAP office.
